9/11 Day of Service: In 2010, we helped organize a community-wide volunteer effort that had Roxbury people cleaning up parks and helping senior neighbors with yard work and other projects. It was a huge success, with over 140 volunteers turning out to help. We had another great year in 2011, and look forward to 2012!
Christian Outreach Project (COP): COP is a ministry of the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference of the UMC. Every year, our youth and adult leaders spend a week fixing homes in Warren and Sussex Counties. During the days they're out on work sites, and in the evenings they gather to worship and talk about their experiences. We have been participants in this ministry for more than twenty years.
Thanksgiving Dinner: In 2010, we began a new tradition, offering a free Thanksgiving dinner to the community. We look forward to growing this project in years to come.
